Pakuranga Choral
Society
Celebrating 38 Years of Song
Pakuranga Choral Society
was founded in 1974 by Ross Lewis who conducted the choir for two years. Hal
Marryatt took up the baton and remained Resident Conductor for the Society for
the next 25 years. Since his retirement the Society has engaged guest
conductors for each concert.
The Society presents three or four concerts each year which include light works,
sacred works and oratorios and a Christmas concert. We welcome offers from
conductors and new members. Rehearsals are on Monday evenings from 7.30 - 9.30
at Elm Park School, Gossamer Drive, Pakuranga, Auckland and performances are
held in All Saints Church, Howick, Auckland.
To join PCS as an active member, current membership fees are $40 per year each
or $60 for a couple.
Alternatively, you can join our mailing list to be kept up to date with our
choral activities.
